Install or connect the product only after checking the source device, destination device, operating system and required cable direction. Download current drivers or software from the chipset or product manufacturer where applicable.

Before you buy: Not bidirectional: it cannot convert VGA to HDMI. VGA carries analogue video only, so use the 3.5mm output for sound. Some low-power HDMI sources may require the auxiliary USB power lead if provided.
